SO YOU HAVE SOME

QUESTIONS

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

We recommend that all visitors to Enoggera Reservoir bring: A Hat, Water, Sunscreen, Towel and Spare clothes (if you will be doing water activities). We have sunscreen available if you forget.

Some other items to bring may include: A packed lunch, your camera and a picnic blanket. Its such a pretty spot!

Are there toilets?

Only 200 meters away in the Walkabout Creek Discovery centre! And they flush, lucky you!

Is it safe to swim?

SEQwater has placed a boxed yellow buoy line at Walkabout Creek which has outlined the swimming area for safety. You’re not meant to swim outside of it but some people do at their own risk. We would recommend joining a group if it’s your first time open water swimming or to get a buoy buddy which can keep you afloat if you do get tired or get a cramp.

How deep is the water?
The reservoir is not even in depth and in some parts reaches 15 meters deep. There is a sectioned off area purposed for swimming which does not include 15 meter depth.
Can I reschedule?
For all scheduled adventure activities (excluding private group bookings) booking times and dates may be changed up to 2 days prior to the date of the activities. Please note: A $5.50 rescheduling fee (per person) will be charged for all changes to bookings
Participant rules

Can I bring my dog?

We’re afraid not, sorry! No domestic animals are permitted in national parks, there are too many lovely native creatures for them to disturb.

Is there storage?

You can leave your belongings next to our check in desk (staff are around the area unless briefing) at your own risk free of charge, or you can have your belongings locked in our safe box in our van for an additional $3

The minimum age?
Participants must be 8 years of age or older to participate in all individual day adventure activities, with minimum age to 5 for our tandem kayaking adventures (must be in a tandem with an adult). For all night activities, participants must be 12 years of age or older.
Do you do vouchers?
Gift Certificates are valid for up to 3 years from the date of purchase and are redeemable for any activity or package at Walkabout Creek Adventures. Gift Certificates are non-refundable and no portion of the gift certificate is redeemable for cash. A $3.00 postage fee is charged per package dispatched (no charge is incurred if the gift certificate is picked up from Walkabout Creek Adventures or sent electronically).

You sure can! We have waterproof phone-cases available to purchase or hire! We actually encourage you to take a phone-case incase of emergencies and to get that perfect pic on the water!

Can I drink or smoke?

National parks have zero tolerance policy on both cigarettes and alcohol. Also all of our activites require participants to have a blood alcohol level of 0.00.
