SO YOU HAVE SOME
QUESTIONS
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
We recommend that all visitors to Enoggera Reservoir bring: A Hat, Water, Sunscreen, Towel and Spare clothes (if you will be doing water activities). We have sunscreen available if you forget.
Some other items to bring may include: A packed lunch, your camera and a picnic blanket. Its such a pretty spot!
Are there toilets?
Only 200 meters away in the Walkabout Creek Discovery centre! And they flush, lucky you!
Is it safe to swim?
SEQwater has placed a boxed yellow buoy line at Walkabout Creek which has outlined the swimming area for safety. You’re not meant to swim outside of it but some people do at their own risk. We would recommend joining a group if it’s your first time open water swimming or to get a buoy buddy which can keep you afloat if you do get tired or get a cramp.
How deep is the water?
Can I reschedule?
Participant rules
Can I bring my dog?
We’re afraid not, sorry! No domestic animals are permitted in national parks, there are too many lovely native creatures for them to disturb.
Is there storage?
Enoggera Reservoir is a public area, similar to a beach, and there is therefore no official storage. You are welcome to leave your belongings next to our check in desk (staff are around the area unless briefing) at your own risk free of charge.
The minimum age?
Do you do vouchers?
Can I take my phone?
You sure can! We have waterproof phone-cases available to purchase or hire! We actually encourage you to take a phone-case incase of emergencies and to get that perfect pic on the water!
Can I drink or smoke?
National parks have zero tolerance policy on both cigarettes and alcohol. Also all of our activites require participants to have a blood alcohol level of 0.00.

Do you serve lunch?
There is a delightful cafe at the Walkabout creek Discovery Centre, which is only a 200meter walk from the lakefront – Alternatively, the sloped hill gazing toward the lake is the ideal spot for a picnic!
