Kayak Hire at Walkabout Creek Adventures is the perfect weekend escape, just 20 minutes from Brisbane CBD. Experience D’Agular National Park from the comfort of your own kayak, or jump in a double kayak and cut your work in half! Kayaks are available Saturdays & Sundays from 9am – 3pm. No experience is required for this outdoor adventure. Walkabout Creek Adventures will provide each kayaker with a paddle, PFD, and a full safety briefing to ensure everyone is safe, comfortable and ready for a great adventure. Kayaking at Walkabout Creek is all about how you like to adventure. As a flat-water kayaking experience, it is perfect for beginners and kids who are just starting out. Or if you’re a seasoned paddler, you can put your skills to the test and see how much of the national park you can explore in your session time! And with freshwater glitter below your boat, you can always jump out for a swim if you need to.
All participants must be 5 years of age to participate. Participants aged 5-7 years must be accompanied by an adult in a tandem kayak. All participants 8-12 years of age will require an adult to join them on the water (single or tandem) to see the full reservoir or restrictions for their safety will be put in place. Participants are required to fill out an indemnity form prior to commencing their activities – any participants below 17 years of age will require a parent or legal guardian to complete the indemnity form.
All Walkabout Creek Adventure activity bookings are non-refundable and must be paid for in full at or before the time of booking. Changes to Bookings For all timetabled adventure activities between 9.30am – 5.00pm booking times and dates may be changed up to 2 days prior to the date of the booking. Please note: A $5.50 rescheduling fee (per person) will be charged for all changes to bookings.
